Comtec is a well-established translations company that wanted to enhance the experience for their clients by creating a dedicated online platform. Their goal was to enable clients to easily log in, submit translation job requests, and, once approved, track the progress of their projects in real time. This level of transparency and control was intended to improve communication, reduce delays, and provide clients with greater confidence throughout the translation process.

To bring this vision to life, Comtec approached Always49 for our expertise in software development and system integration. They needed a seamless solution that would connect with their existing internal systems, allowing data to flow smoothly between platforms without disrupting their current workflows. Our initial task was to understand both their business needs and the technical capabilities of their existing setup, ensuring the new portal would complement and enhance their operations.

We worked very closely with the Comtec team throughout the entire design process of the portal. Our collaboration began by carefully mapping out the user journey to understand how clients would interact with the system from start to finish. Following the success of the client portal, we extended the platform by developing a dedicated supplier portal. This additional system allows Comtec’s subcontractors to interact directly with the company, streamlining workflows on both ends. Currently, we are collaborating on a third project phase that will introduce financial management features, enabling Comtec to raise invoices, generate purchase orders, and manage subcontractor payments all within a unified platform.

To build these solutions, we leveraged a robust technology stack including Laravel for the backend, along with HTML, CSS, and MySQL for frontend design and database management. We also took full responsibility for the user experience (UX) and interface design, ensuring that the entire system not only performs well but is also visually appealing and easy to use. This comprehensive approach allows Comtec to offer their clients and suppliers a seamless and professional digital experience.
